Fictional Partner: Draco Malfoy

Draco Malfoy is the rich Mummy’s boy with a bad attitude but we all know underneath that permanent scowl lies a whole load of vulnerability. So let’s take an in depth look into why we’d want to (or not want to) date the one and only Malfoy heir.

Full Name: Draco Lucius Malfoy

Gender: Male
Hair Colour: Blonde
Eye Colour: Grey
Other relevant info: Pureblood, Slytherin

Pros: Draco comes from a rather well known family in the Wizarding world. Both his maternal and paternal sides are well known and definitely have power and money behind them.

Born and raised to be a leader, Draco isn’t exactly a shy person. He will tell you what he thinks of you and there must be some level of charm around him considering many people hung off his words in school. Crabbe, Goyle, Blaise and Pansy all seemed to stick close to him.

Intelligence is another aspect of the Malfoy heir that you have to respect. Draco was able to figure out many things from small pieces of information. This skill gained him a place on the Inquisitorial Squad whilst Umbridge was in charge at Hogwarts. Although he mainly used this information to get into mischief or to get the Golden Trio in trouble you have to admire the skill and effort behind it all.

Cons: We don’t get the good without the bad and Malfoys are about as bad as they get. So what isn’t so loveable about Draco. His family may pull a lot of strings and move in a lot of social circles but having Lucius and Narcissa as prospective in laws may not be all it’s cracked up to be. I highly doubt anyone would be good enough for Draco in Narcissa’s eyes and we may end up fancying Lucius more than his son. Awkward!

We can’t forget that for years Draco was essentially a bully. We also can’t forgive him for calling Hermione Granger a mudblood. And then there was that time he joined the Death Eaters. We could probably forgive a few mistakes but Draco’s ones seem to be on the large side.

Arrogance can be a turn on and a turn off. Just a sprinkling of arrogance can be sexy and make you want to tame a bad boy but lets face it, Draco Malfoy had the tendency to overdo it. Whether he was boasting about his blood status or his new broom there are times where you just wish he were a ferret again so he couldn’t talk.

Personally, being a Slytherin, Draco Malfoy would definitely be on my radar. I like a bad boy and this fictional hunk is certainly my cup of butterbeer.

What do you think?
